Gregory Treace was 52 years old, a father of two, and undergoing treatment for stage 4 non-Hodgkin's lymphoma when he disappeared on July 24, 2022. He has not been seen since.
On the evening of July 23, 2022, Gregory left his home in Tulsa to go fishing with his brother and his brother's girlfriend. Their car broke down in Jenks, and the next morning they got a ride to Gregory's mother's rural property outside Sapulpa. According to his brother, Gregory was last seen walking on a trail on the property. His Nike shoes and jean shorts were later found on a bench near the house.
Billie Treace, Gregory's wife, has said she received conflicting and inconsistent accounts from Gregory's brother about what happened that night, including one version claiming Gregory had left with the brother's girlfriend to a hotel — a story that didn't hold up when Billie drove to the hotel herself and found no sign of him. She has also said text messages show the brother and Gregory were fighting around the time he disappeared. Gregory left without his lymphoma medication, which he needed daily, and missed an important medical treatment shortly after he went missing.
The Creek County Sheriff's Office lists Gregory's case as suspicious circumstances and continues to investigate.
Billie and the couple's two children have never stopped hoping for answers about what happened to Gregory.
